We have just returned from a weekend stay at this lovely guest house, I wanted a special break away to celebrate a 40th birthday with my partner.
Read the reviews on line before booking and thought it sounded too good to be true, well the reviews were indeed justified. We decided to pay the little extra to stay in one of the suites
(Aspley) and found it to be worth every penny,beautifully decorated,spotlessly clean,designer bed linen and a bottle of sparkling wine on ice.
Both Peter and Wayne the owners made us welcome from the moment we arrived until waving us off on leaving, the food both breakfast and evening meals were freshly cooked and tasted delicious. The hotel was ideally located for us being in the heart of the gay quarter but managing to retain a quiter feel away from the main roads.We have stayed in many hotels some of which we would never return to however the Lawrence House Hotel is definately one we shall be returning to.

Great location, excellent staff and well furnished room. Hard to beat for a Blackpool B&B. Breakfast was lovely, and there were many finishing touches which made it special.

Clean, friendly, quiet, great location near to the Northern Pier. Within walking distance of many pubs/clubs, but the location down a side street makes it very quiet and I got an undisturbed sleep. I love the that breakfast is served from until 10.30am - no need to get up at 8.30 on a weekend morning to ensure you get something to eat, come down at a more leisurely time. Bravo! I had salmon and scrambled eggs one morning which was delicious. An ample portion that set me up for the day.

When I arrived I grabbed a late lunch of home made soup which was very tasty and warming.

Peter and Wayne helped me find directions to places I wanted to visit, rang a taxi so I could get to the airport, and were always approachable. Thank you for having a B&B that's a pleasure to stay in.

A great hotel worth four stars. Peter & Wayne give great customer service, cook great food and are lovely unassuming hosts. The accommodation is clean and well maintained. Good location just 5 mins walk to the town and a couple to the sea front. Would stay again. Cheers guys!
