“Birthday weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

We were warmly welcomed by Karen on our arrival. Our room was spacious and comfy. There is a lovely lounge for the guests + a sun lounge where you can sit and watch the world go by. The lounge was used on the Saturday night by most of the guests as it was raining so Richard did a great job behind the bar. Karen gave us imformation about the places to eat and we would recommend the Italian across the square. The bus and tram stops were at the top of the road. Free parking outside of the hotel and quiet location.
The breakfast was cooked fresh for you whilst you helped your self to cerial and fruit juice etc. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we intend to return and bring our son and his family.

“My first time in Blackpool.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

The Craigmore is a very warm and welcoming B+B, and wouldn't be without Karen and Richard. They were funny and kind from the start of our three days there. Breakfast was lovely, and as I am a vegetarian Karen went out of her way to get me a vegetarian sausage. If you don't like a cooked breakfast there is also a small selection of cereal and toast. The rooms were colourful and smelt clean as well as the ensuite lavatory. I shared the sofa bed with my sister and i would of liked the covers to be a bit bigger, but otherwise i slept soundly. What a great place to have a hotel as well, near a bus station, the tram, the beach and the famous illuminations. To sum up this hotel/B+B in one one word it would be homely.

“A return visit to the Craigmore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

Recently returned from yet another stay at the Craigmore! Many thanks yet again Karen and Richard. The Craigmore is a warm and welcoming place to say. I sayed on the top floor with a lovely view over the Gynn Square gardens and the sea, and at this time of year a front line view of the illuminations without stepping out of the door! The room was very warm, clean and tidy abd tastefully decorated. There was a TV, kettle and provisions for hot drinks - great for coming in late afternoon or bedtime. The ensuite shower room is spotlessly clean and tidy with some toiletries provided though I usually use my own. The beds are comfy too! It always smells fresh and clean when you walk in the front door. The lounge downstairs is welcoming as is the sunlounge at the front of the property, and the licensed bar available if you want it. I always enjoy breakfast at the Craigmore, with true home cooking, also the evening meal which always includes fresh veg and my favourite steamed puddings. I have stayed at the Craigmore many times, and always look forward to my return visits. It couldn't be better positioned with the tram stops just across the road and the seafront bus service stop very near by. The public car park in Gyn Square is very handy but I normally get a parking space just outside the Craigmore without a problem. I always look forward to my next visit and wouldn't consider anywhere else in Blackpool,

“Lights and Entertainment break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

The weather was disappointing but not the Craigmore. This was our third visit. As usual Richard and Karen were the perfect hosts, excellent friendly service, good choice for breakfast which is always beautifully cooked and served. The room was spotless with comfortable furnishings, this time we had a room at the front with a view over Gynn Square towards the sea. The area is quiet but within easy reach of Blackpool centre.
