On arriving after a long trip in the car with children aged from 9months to 15 yrs, we were overjoyed to find that Andy the proprietor had kept us a parking space in the same street as the hotel, which we later found out was no mean feat.
In our room they had placed a travel cot and bedding in anticipation of our requiring them to which we were over the moon. The family room we stayed in was more than adequate in size due to the placement of furniture which was the one thing I had, had reservations about before our trip having 2 adults and 3 children to fit in it.
This hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere and from the moment you step through the door you can feel the relaxing atmosphere. I can honestly say I cannot find one fault with this place. The hotel was fantastic, the food was fantastic but most of all the owners Andy and Bernie were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, they are just the nicest couple who are extremely helpful and genuine. We all enjoyed it so much that we stayed on an extra night when normally we'd all be itching to get home!
I will be telling everybody to go to the Rock Dene Hotel as it really the difference between your holiday being good and being brilliant and its location which is very central from the tower to the pleasure beach was just perfect with a small walk in either direction to all main attractions!!
