Just spent 2 nights at The Martell Hotel, the warm welcome and laid back atmosphere made our weekend, although the rooms aren't en suite the shower room was right next to our rooms and always had fresh towels and kept clean, Thanks Michelle and Jamie we will definatly be back next year.

i went to b/pool 4 abreak ,looking around at hotels 4 the rite price and 2 stay the nite or 2,i checked afew hotels but was drawn to martells hotel above the rest so did the price wereu.get b/b..wow i thought and rang the bell..answered by the gaffer...lol...have you a room,,,yes she replied,had a drink at the bar then went to my room,,was very clean and tidy ,,cleaned myself up and went down to the bar area and had a really gud nite,,i also stayed a 2nd nite ,,,and a 3rd 4th 5th,,,infact it ended up i stayed there just over 365days...and all the meals were lovely...so remember when you visit b/pool dont forget to look up...martells...the number one hotel in blackpool... i also found romance while i was there..(my wife to be)irene**gud luck,,(shell/jamie/family)....rob=irene...

I stayed at the Martells hotel on a friends recommendation. It was an absolutely brilliant experience i've never stayed in such a welcoming, friendly, clean hotel. I can't fault a thing, brilliant value for money. The breakfast was top notch and i ended up staying an extra 3 nights because i just didnt want to leave!!! The hosts were so friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I will definitely be visiting again and would recommend it to anybody planning a trip to Blackpool.

When we booked up to stay at the martells we were abit worried as You dont have a shower or a toliet in your room, we were thinking of somewhere else to stay but thought we'd go to have a look. When we got there jamie came to greet us and as he knew there were a few of us stayin he put us on a floor which only had 3 room that we could share between us. He was very welcoming. The hotel itself impressed us so much, for 15 pound a night bed and breakfast stay it was so lovely, alothough you dont have an en-suit bathroom you have one on the floor your stayin on and there very well looked after and have towels and showering tolietries provided, they are also very clean which shows how much pride they take in there hotel. the bedrooms wer also lovely and the beds were very comfortable, i didnt want to wake up the next day! Definatly recommend this to anybody apart from people with disabled disabitily's as there are alot of stairs
