“Blinkin Marvelous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012 via mobile

So impressed with our stay! Karen and Simon made you feel so welcome and at ease! Never have we felt so comfortable when staying in any hotel or B&B! This guest house is like home from home and I would reccomend to everyone! Nothing was to much trouble and I have a little OCD! Well that's what my husband and friends and family think and it was so CLEAN! Loved our stay the Waterford is boootiful! Will definately go back soon!

“A fantastic bed and breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

My boyfriend and I have just got back from a two night stay at the Waterford and we couldnt have asked for any better! We have been to quite a few hotels in Blackpool but this one was by far the best. We booked the king size room and had a really good sized en suite, we were quite surprised at the size of it. We had dressing gowns, slippers, lovely big bath towels, mini fridge and there was even a survival kit, including nail clippers, shoe shine and first aid kit! Great idea! Karen and Simon were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was very tasty and filling, with a great menu to choose from. The hotel is very clean and has great modern decor. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family and will definately be coming back to the Waterford when we visit blackpool again. Pure luxury.

Room Tip: Pay that little bit extra for the king size room

“A jewel in Blackpool's crown.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011 via mobile

Set just off the seafront and around a 15-20 minute stroll away from Blackpool Tower is the charming Waterford.
This was our 2nd stay here with friends who were back for their 4th. We were welcomed by Karen and Simon who are very friendly people who cannot do enough for you. The Waterford is very nicely decorated with lot's of art dotted around to interest. The room we had was a suite we'd had previously on the top floor. It is a nice size, with everything you would need for a comfortable stay such as tea and coffee making facilities, flat-screen tv, ironing board and iron, a spotless shower room and a comfortable bed. On the ground floor is the bar with large, comfortable sofa's and the dining room where breakfast is served, which is not to be missed - it is very nice. We will be back again next year.

“quiet, well kept bed and breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

We have just returned from a two night stay and are pleased to say we had a quiet pleasant time, the b and b is geared up for a restful time in the blackpool area, with an early breakfast of 8-9am and an on request bar which closes at 10pm. It is certainly not for party people which suited us well.
The b and b has a side view of the sea from some of its rooms and we were lucky enough to benefit from this.
The property if very clean throughout, we were particularly impressed with the shower room, which although small was very clean and with huge towels.
If I have any quibbles it would only be it was difficult to access sockets which were behind the two bedside units and the televisions in the rooms were very small.
Overall we had a lovely time and the hosts were accomodating and friendly.

We were very lucky with the Blackpool weather and this added to our brilliant weekend.
Blackpool is benefitting from the efforts being put into the sea front and was very busy with families on the Saturday we were there.
We visited the new madam tussauds which was great but maybe not worth paying £14 each as we were around in an hour (we were lucky to have two for one tickets).
We also went to legends on the central pier and despite being packed into the venue, enjoyed fantastic entertainment especially from brilliant Robbie Williams and Elvis impersonators.

We would recommend this b and b to those wishing to enjoy Blackpools delights but also escape from the hustle and bustle.

Room Tip: ask for a sea view

“loved every minute”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in blackpool. the moment we got there we were greeted by karen and simon and they were lovely and made us feel welcome. Karen explained everything and showed us around. Bed was amazing (most comfortable pillow ever). Bathroom was lovely and very clean. Even though we had a small double room i found it fine and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was gorgeous :) We loved it and would definately return. xx

Room Tip: book early to get a bigger room
