“Superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Beautiful and comfortable room- we were in the Spring suite. Lovely decor and great facilities in the room with some real special touches e.g. the Fourooms is not licensed but there are lovely wine glasses and a corkscrew in your room etc! Lovely soft towels, huge comfy bed,, great lighting options, good tea, coffee and yummy things chest!!Modern contemporary bathroom- cloured mood lighting, underfloor heating, shower ceiling rose and side jets.
The welcome from Marcus was great and we had some fab breakfast conversations. The rooms are lovely and LARGE- our room and en suite used to house 2 doubles and a bunk bed room in it's previous typical Blackpool B&B days!! Parking space for each room- avoids paying a charge each day.
This is NOT the usual Blackpool B&B and is definately worth the extra pennies- further proof of you get what you pay for! Very deserving of it's 5 star rating.
Thoroughly recomend this place and we will stay again here when we go back to Blackpool

Room Tip: Everyone raves about the winter room- it is lovely (Marcus showed us around) but so are the the Spri...

“Truly 5-STAR!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

An excellent place to stay and worth every penny. Marcus is great host who has a lot of knowledge of Blackpool and can recommend a lot of good places of interest and places to eat out. We stayed in the Autumn Suite which was a warm and bright large room. The power shower was splendid and underfloor heating in the bathroom was a unique experience. There was a great choice for H&C and large freeview TV at eye-level. This room was very quiet at the rear of the building so you could enjoy the experience and get a good night's sleep and the bed is firm and comfortable, too. Breakfast was served fresh and hot and it was great quality too. Toast was made using homebaked bread and tasted great. We would recommend Fourooms to anyone planning to visit Blackpool.

Room Tip: Stay in the Autumn Suite. It's excellent decor and warm colours make this room truly inviting.

“Perfect bit of luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

If you are a discerning traveller & like luxury when you are away then go nowhere else.

The rooms in this hotel are impeccable with every attention to detail. The bathrooms are amazing & a place I wish I had had more time to indulge in. You can lose yourself in the bath in the summer suite!

Breakfast is very hearty, with plenty of homemade choices to choose from.

Marcus is a perfect host & on hand with any information or anything you may require. Nothing is too much trouble for this guy.

Location is ideal as it is located within a 5 minute walk of Blackpool centre & 2 mins walk to the main promenade.

If you are looking for somewhere to book as a couple for either just a weekend away or a special occasion i.e. birthday or anniversay then you do not need to look anywhere else.

Book today you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the building are quieter

“A new standard for excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

“Four Rooms” is a bit like winning the jackpot on one of the resort's fruit machines....you can't believe it! Blackpool has some rubbish guest houses (and that's speaking from personal experience). This sets a new standard for excellence. It has been refurbished with style and attention to detail and Marcus is an outstanding host. We stayed in the summer room which overlooks the back garden and is beautifully quiet. Everything is immaculately clean and well presented. In the bathroom, for example, there are none of the tiny toiletries common in even the biggest hotels...instead, you get large L'Occitane dispensers of soap and cream. Towels and flannels are by Christie. And it was a pleasure to find bath robes provided as well. Tea and coffee are “hidden away” in a box colour co-ordinated with the room and the hair dryer is a powerful one. There are even sweets and (bit bizarre this) a thermometer in a utility box in the wardrobe. The wall mounted TV is huge with a large choice of Freeview channels and if you've got an iPod you'll be pleased to find there's also a docking station with speakers so you can play your own music. A hot English breakfast is freshly prepared and well presented, with a choice of cereals and fruit as well.. And the toast that accompanies it all is home made bread...and very well baked in my opinion. Free parking is provided in front of the guest house. Marcus could not have done any more to have made our stay more pleasant. Anything wrong at all? Well, the wardrobe door creaked! And that's about the only bad thing I can think of.!!! :-) Yes, Four Rooms is a bit pricey, but it is also value for money and highly recommended.

Room Tip: The summer room is particularly quiet
