We stayed here in Sept for a little break and read the other reviews before booking. We were happy to find that we were not disappointed. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and even homemade marmalade and jam. The hosts were lovely and really were knowledgable on the local area, you could tell they loved the lakes and their enthusiasm is contagious!! Thanks Steve & Vicky, see you again soon.

We had booked ourselves in this lovely home turned guest house for our stay at Windermere. Although I did not find any reviews for this one, and there were not many options left for the long weekend, I was skeptical. However, we were surprised by the quality of the guest house. It is hosted by a very friendly couple in their house just near the lake. The place is peaceful, spanking clean and had all amenities like TV etc. The room was a little small, but lovely and cozy. The breakfast which is included in the price was awesome as well, homemade and fresh, esp the full English breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place, though a little steep on the money, but definitely worth it.

We booked the garden suite at Invergarry for our honeymoon last month after reading other people's reviews and we were not disappointed! We felt Steve and Victoria's hospitality was excellent and they were very accommodating about us arriving later than planned. There was a good breakfast choice and they were kind enough to purchase items to enable me to have a vegetarian cooked breakfast. The garden suite was very nicely decorated and furnished with useful additions, such as a corkscrew! The homemade cake that was replenished daily was an unexpected but delicious treat.

Steve and Victoria were extremely welcoming. My boyfriend and I had the loveliest time at this guest house and felt instantly at home - much of this was down the the pleasant decor, the super soft duvet and the home made cake!
If you don't stay here, you are only letting yourself down.

P.S. Also a fab location that is within walking distance to the centre of Bowness. Perfect if you want to leave the car at the guest house and have a few drinks.
