I booked a one night stay as I was passing through the area as part of a longer trip. When I arrived I was welcomed as an old friend: David and Simon not only remembered me from a year ago but asked about my travel companion. This time I traveled with my husband and he understood why and how much we liked this B&B. As always the place was clean and comfortable and the Innkeepers are attentive and helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer but WILL definitely be back!

Stayed at Glen Wynne for the weekend. The B&B is very close to Windermere town centre, shops and railway station. We were met at the door by David, he was very friendly and showed us to our room, offering to carry out bag for us to the first floor. The room was at the front of the B&B, roomy. The ensuite bathroom was small, but okay for me, although my husband said the shower cubicle was a bit on the small side for him. Bed was very comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast, served by David again, and he couldn't have been more helpful. We left our bag (a donation of £1 goes to the local search and rescue) and collected it later in the day, when we met Simon, the other co-owner of the property, who was equally as friendly as David. All in all a great stay, with very nice hosts. Good to see such a nice, clean B&B. Thanks again.

Had a fabulous stay at Glen Wynne. Nothing was too much trouble for David and Simon. Great guys, very welcoming, down to earth, friendly and helpful. Gave us loads of information on walks, resturants, pubs etc. Beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, clean room and a brilliant breakfast each morning. Will definitely be going back. My partner and i have just come back from a short break in the lakes, were we stayed at Glen Wynne B&B. Simon and David were very nice hosts and very helpfull. The rooms were clean and tidy and very cosy. Good breakfasts. Great location. For the duration of our stay we were given a parking permit which aloud us to free parking in most of the main car parks. Both my partner and I enjoyed our stay very much, thank you Simon and David. Hope to see you next year. Helen & Trev.
