Highly recomend this well maintained establishment, very rare you find guest houses that are as clean as this. Bedrooms beautifully set out, well positioned foe both Bowness & Windermere. Food is excellent.

We stayed here New Year's Eve 08 and loved it. The owners were very friendly and down to earth. Our room was one of the budget/standard rooms - Lower Ground, although I was worried about it being on the lower ground before arriving I really don't know what I was worrying about it because it was comfortable and warm.... just what we needed after a long day of walking. I would recommend anyone to stay here. We are thinking of heading back up for our hunnymoon next year too! Great veggie breakfast..... I must say the best in the Lakes thus far!

Lovely b&b, perfect location and friendly staff! Rooms were cosy and comfortable, power shower was lovely. Breakfast menu was excellent, so much choice! We notified owners we would be arriving early, and our room was ready for us. I even had a candle in my breakfast in my birthday, nice touch! Great place to visit, my boyfriend proposed on my birthday so this is a special place we won't forget and we will definitely visit again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my birthday in march and I am so glad we did! The room was large with a big tv and a ridiculously comfy bed. The service was great and the staff were friendly. It's close to the centre of Windermere (5 mins walk) and only a little further to the lake.

The best bit about this hotel, however, is the breakfast. We were there for only 2 days but I wish we could've stayed for 2 weeks just to sample everything on the breakfast menu!
