“Best in the lakes!”

I have stayed at the Boundary twice and have just booked for my third time, the place is amazing. I have stayed at other hotels and none of them come close!!
I have stayed in the Maclaren and my favourite has got to be the Hobbs room, it is utter class.
I think this is a 1st class hotel and very reasonably priced, the breakfast is to die for, the rooms ooze class and are very stylish and Steve is a very pleasant and helpful guy. On top opf all this Bowness is just a short walk away with all its restaurants and bars.
If you are planning a trip to the Lakes then book The Boundary!!

“AMAZING! Attendtion to detail and luxury”

We booked a few weeks previous for our anniversary and chose the Fry Room, we paid £105 for a sunday 1 night inc full english breakfast.
Finding the hotel was easy and the details on the website really helped.
On arrival we rang the bell and Steve the owner came down and asked us 'would we like any help with our bags' and then carried them up for us without question. We found him being so attentive and polite made the whole stay even better and showed us that the people who own this really care.

The b&b is not like a 'normal b&b' it is like a boutique hotel and we absolutely loved it.
From the reception area to the room, to the dining area and to the cute rooms downstairs to chill out in this place is BEAUTIFUL!.
For us it was the attention to detail which makes it special and makes the place worth what we paid. Infact we found the price to be extremely good value for money.
Our room The Fry room is on the top floor and had 2 large windows with lovely views.
The decor is beautifull and we loved the bathroom and large shower. The bed is very very comfy and the pillows fantastic. Again the little touches like the body butter in its cute container and applicator, the handy instructions about the room, hotel and bowness area with hints of pubs and restaurants made the stay that little bit more special.
The breakfast was possibly the best breakfast ive ever had in a hotel/b&b and to sit and relax and eat with the lovely views was an extra touch.
Nothing was too much for the owners and we didnt want for anything.
We even had champagne glasses and a bucket of ice brought up with no bother at all.

We can't wait to stay again and give the other rooms a try.

Location- in between windermere and bowness (walk left to bowness and right to windermere) PERFECT.

Thankyou so much to the owners and we have already recommended The Boundary to any of our friends who are thinking about staying in the lakes.

“Superb location with everything you would want in a short stay hotel room.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Very impressed with the hotel, the owners especially Steve who helped us sort out our stay at short notice. The location is very good for a short stroll into Bowness and great for walking off the evening meal and extra pint. We would return no question here and for 2 to 3 days it is outstanding.
