This is a lovely little B&B they couldn't have been nicer this B&b is placed near the top of Windermere. Windemere its self is excellent on a sunny day. Fab place to stay !

Lovely, clean rooms. Very central to everything. Easy walking distance to town centre. Breakfast lovely and plentyfull.

Our first ever experience of a UK B & B. Sam and David are the ultimate hosts. We booked for six days and don't regret one bit. Very helpful with our requests which included my wifes dietry needs. Their input to things to do was brilliant and the local eatings houses they said try, excellent. The one they said not to, was after we had dined their. Right again guys. Highly recommend and well positioned to town

Stayed at Briardene whilst attending a wedding nearby (rooms slightly dear at hotel where wedding taking place). I am so glad we did - there were many wedding guests jealous of our excellent find. The rooms were spotless with everything in, and more, that you need. I think the little extras made it extra special - like bottled water, mint cake, a printout of the weather forecast whilst you were there amongst many other things. The bathroom was top class. The breakfast menu was unbelievable and all freshly cooked. Sam and David were perfect hosts. The location was ideal - literally just outside main area of Windermere. I could go on writing about this gem but you need to visit yourself to believe.
