Superb B&B probably the best in Penrith. A steady walk into Penrith, but you have to work off the excellent brakfast somehow. Great choice excellently prepared home made bread fresh fruit the list goes on. Sarah is very helpful offering places to see where to eat how to get there, she can even tell you which pub does the best chips in the area. I can't praise them enough. I would recommend Bank House to anyone.

Wonderfully helpful hosts, lovely room and quiet setting. Easy walk down the hill into town for dinner or drinks. Very nice garden and view over the area. Breakfast was really tasty and all local produce which very nice. We would stay here again without question.

we stayed here overnight as me and my husband were travelling to scotland. the room was beautiful, staff were helpful and pleasant and the breakfast the next morning was absoultely beautiful. we would definately come again :-)

I now use this as my base when visiting clients in Cumbria. The couple who run this place are friendly and always helpful with pub/meal recommendations and making a decent cake and coffee on arrival. Stayed here 4 or 5 times and in three of their rooms - all done to a good standard with a decent breakfast offering for the morning.
