Centre parcs had been recommended by friends and family visiting other parks. It took us 50 minutes to get from the Centre Parc drive to the accomodation - not fun with a toddler. We expected to be able to go cycling through the forest, and a fairly good level of accommodation. Disappointed on both counts. There is cycling around the accommodation only - when we asked about cycling we were told we could go to Whinlatter. The 'villa' was very tired and scuffed. The cooker did not work properly, there were holes in the bathroom ceiling, the DVD player did not work and there was a mess of cables underneath, and there was not a wooden spoon or sharp knife in the kitchen. (obviously not one of the refurbished villas).
What 'saved' it for us was the swimming pool - fantastic. Clean, warm, easy and well thought out.
A good range of activities, but expensive. Indoor and outdoor free play areas very poor. We may go when our little one is older, but will go to Sherwood or Longleat.
Room Tip: I guess ask them if it is one that has been refurbished

Thank you for taking the time to post.
It is disappointing to learn that you found the accommodation "very tired and scuffed" and only limited cycling within the Village.
We do aim to keep all accommodation units to an acceptable standard and do have a current refurbishment programme.
It is great to learn that you found the Subtropical Swimming Paradise fantastic.
I do hope that we may have the pleasure of welcoming you back to one of our Villages in the future.
Kind Regards
