My partner and I have stayed at this lovely B&B on several occasions over the last few years. Each time the quality of the rooms and food has been superb. Having experienced several bnb’s in the area I highly recommend Damson Lodge as one of the best.

We stayed at Damson Lodge for the weekend and this was our second visit. As before the welcome from Paul & Viri was first class. Their home is a wonderful example of all that is best about top class B&B's in England. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast choice changes daily and cooked fresh each morning. I recommend Damson Lodge if you visiting Keswick and the Lake District.

The damson lodge is an exceptionally clean and friendly place. The service was exceptional and couldn't be faulted. The owners were nothing but helpfully and friendly and helped with local knowledge with regards to walks etc. Will not hesitate to book again.

We have stayed with Paul and Viri many times and we just can't stay away! The location is 5 mins walk from the centre of Keswick, the rooms are nicely decorated and are absolutely spotless. Paul and Viri are really friendly with good local knowledge and can't do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And as for the home cooking and baking, well we just can't fault it. All the food is locally sourced and there are several choices for breakfast including a daily special. The blueberry pancakes are worth staying for alone! They even cater for my special dietary requirements which is superb. The extra touches like the delicious home made shortbread in your room and the special gluten free biscuits for people like me makes this the perfect place to stay. It might sound like I'm being overenthusiastic, but of all the places we've stayed, this B&B really stands out and we often compare other B&Bs we stay in with Damson Lodge and we really wouldn't stay anywhere else. Parking is free on-street parking and if you return from your day out by no later than about 5pm, you'll be fine. There are plenty of other little streets next to Eskin street with free parking and we've never had a problem.
