I chose this guest house because of its location in the town centre, within very easy walking distance of pubs and shops. My room at the back of the first floor was more than adequate for one person, and had a nice view towards Skiddaw. The choice of both hot and cold food at breakfast was a bit limited, but I would be happy to come here again.

This was our third year, we stayed for 7 nights. The English breakfast is great, freshly cooked and piping hot with plenty of toast and tea served by Joan the owner of the Guest house. The location is is only a short walk to the town square where there are lots of pubs ,shops, coffee shops and shops. The pubs all serve meals with lots of local contents.
We will be back next year, we love Keswick!

My daughter and I stayed at the Lincoln for two nights whilst we did some walking in the Lake District. We were very pleased with the overall experience at the Lincoln. Great breakfasts and we were even able to leave our bags there for a few hours after we checked out so we could do some unladen walking.

Wonderful and comfortable guesthouse. We got a room at the top of the house that had an amazing view of the mountains. Very close to town center and all the restaurants/ stores. Owner was delightful and breakfast was delicious!
