We stayed for four nights at Allerdale House for our 'minimoon' in January 2012. Paul and Barbara were very friendly and welcoming, and only too happy to offer advice and suggestions regarding things to do and walks etc. The B &B was spotless and and very comfortable, and the breakfast lovely. The complimentary bottle of bubbly from Paul and Barbara upon learning we had just married was also appreciated! Overall we would highly recommend Allerdale House and would definitely return in future.

“Allerdale House”
A very good place to stay. A very friendly & welcoming couple in Paul & Barbara, excellent accommodation, clean & tidy. Will be returning.

“Home from home”
Had a great couple of nights at Allerdale, as per the other comments the room was spotless, warm and comfortable. Paul and Barbara were great hosts, it literally felt like we were staying with family they looked after us that well. On the second day I actually said whilst we were out walking "Oooh I can't wait to get home" !! But that's what it feels like, a home-from-home.Next time will stay longer to do more walking around Keswick.

“Another fantastic stay”
Can't fault the place. Barbara and Paul are the perfect hosts. Breakfast was good and the rooms are still immaculate. We will be back at some point hopefully next year.

“Lovely stay”
Paul, the resolute Liverpool fan, and his better half, Barbara, provided a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. Conveniently located a five minute walk from the town centre, with on-site parking. No complaints. Top notch.
Decent breakfast. Decent people.
