This was our 4th new year in Keswick, however first time stay at this guest house, with our 6 week old baby.. and we were pleased with the hospitality and very accomodating, room was perfect, did take our own provisions i.e (crib) had a fantstic time, however a little different with a little one! would definetly stay again....lovely breakfast.

Went for a weekend away and chose Glendale because of the reviews on this site. It didn't disappoint! Room was lovely and exceptionally clean, breakfast was amazing and we were made to feel extremely welcome. The owners couldn't do enough for us. Recommended!

Weve spent new year at the lakes for the past 4 years and this was the first year we spent in B&B. We were extremely happy with the services provided. The one and only down side, if you could call it that was there was only half an hour allocated for breakfast, however it was scrumdidlyumptious...mmm porridge and a full english! Martin and Gilly were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean and very cosy! We will be back this year, soon we hope! Jack & Poppy.

It was our second new year stay at the Gendale in three years. Once again my wife and I found that the standard was still very high. Our rooom was very comfortable and to a very high standard and the the breakfasts (cumberland sausage !!) are to die for especially after a few special ales. We would not hesitate to stay with Gilly and Martin again and would recommend it to family and friends. Brian & Karen H
