Stayed 7th - 10th February 2012, second time ive stayed here and cant wait for our next visit. The hotel is steeped with history, love the photo of the queen inspecting the local Constabulary probably in the 1970s . The food is to die for, venison, pheasant, duck were some of the main courses during our stay. I think the chef is a Masterchef fan, beautifully presented. Breakfast was full English, buffet service, together with a selection of cereals, fruit and pastries. The hotel is well located for starting several walks, or a short walk to Keswick centre and Derwentwater. Enjoy a visit to the local cinema, a lovely independent cinema.
If you get the chance to stay at the Keswick do so, i am sure you wont be disappointed. Last word on the staff- all were pleasant, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for the stay.
