We have just had a very enjoyable stay at Abacourt. We received a very warm welcome from John & Heather. The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and we felt very much at home. The central location was brilliant, making everything easily accessable. We look forward to staying again.

We have been staying here for numerous years under different owners and they have all managed to keep a nice friendly atmosphere. It is always immaculate, rooms are very light and warm and provide a comfortable stay. Breakfast is plentiful and very good. Parking can be a bit difficult but if you time your arrival for late afternoon you can usually find free parking nearby. Stanger Street can be a bit steep for the less able towards the top so bear this in mind if you have trouble with slopes. The location is ideal for Keswick centre and there a loads of nearby places to eat. If you like chinese food then the Golden Hills is a must and it is only around the corner from Stanger Street.

Stopped for only one night but was impressed with the warm and friendly greeting.

Really enjoyed our one night visit to Keswick and could not fault this well-appointed, centrally located B&B or its very pleasant and helpful owners. Lovely room, off-road parking and nice breakfast made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. 5 out of 5 and will definitely stay here again when we return to Keswick.
