Just back from a wonderful 2 days staying at Heidi's. This is the second time we've stayed in room 6. The room is beautifully furnished with everything you could need, lovely views, excellent breakfast, staff are extremely helpful and polite, we can't wait to return.

An absolutely lovely B&B right in the centre of the gorgeous Lakes village of Grasmere. The room (number 4) was outstanding and decorated to an extreme high standard (a la Cath Kidston in certain aspects) and the whole place just seemed welcoming and homely. Was great to have a balcony overlooking the village and the fells and the bathroom was vast. The breakfast was also superb and was served efficiently so that we could be up and at 'em and ascending those fells in the rain! Would not hesitate to recommend.

What a fantastic way to start 2012! The B&B is beautiful and maintained to a very high standard - and my standards are very high!!!! We have stayed in 4 different rooms over the previous years and every time our stay is wonderful. Fantastic location, decor and staff!

We stayed at Heidi's for our anniversary and had a lovely stay. The staff were extremely welcoming, we were greeted by Heather who showed us to our room and she was lovely. We stayed in room 6 which has two levels and it was beautifully decorated with the comfiest bed! Very clean and warm. Added bonus of a fantastic view from the window. Breakfast was tasty, we both just had a full english, but there was a nice selection of cereals, granola and fresh fruit to choose from aswell. The guy who served breakfast was so nice and really went out of his way to do anything he could to make us feel at home.
I love this place and will definitely go back.

Oh and the Lemon cake in the cafe was amazing!
