“Sumptuous accommodation”

We've previously stayed at this B & B prior to the current owners, which is why we choose this venue for my parents on a post christmas get away, and I'm pleased to say my parent tell me it's still very good.

The rooms are stylish, the breakfast is excellent and it's a very attractive property with parking.

My husband a I didn't notice, but my parents did comment that the bathroom is small consider the cost!

I would have no hesitation recommending Easedale Lodge.

We stayed at Easdale Lodge for two nights in February,The location is in the centre of Ambleside which is handy for the shops,an evening meal and drinks,
The accomodation is very well presented, spotlessly clean and has been recently redecorated throughout.Breakfast was freshly cooked and very filling!
Kerry will make you feel welome and at home.
Can't really think of anything bad to say-except once again thanks to Kerry and hope to see you again soon.

“WONDERFUL WEEKEND”

Just spent a really lovely weekend away at this wonderful B&B. Kerry, the owner, couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are lovely (spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated). Personally I would recommend the larger deluxe rooms. The smaller rooms are described as cosy, which they are, but still lovely so it just depends if you like a little more room. The attention to detail is fantastic. The breakfast was great too and I felt the place generally had something special about it. I tend to always go for hotels but this B&B is so lovely I will definitely be booking another weekend in the summer - in fact I didn't want to leave.

“Absolutely fantastic!”

From receipt of confirmation of booking email, to flexibility regarding arrival times, to actually providing live travel information whilst we were en-route, Kerry couldn't do enough to help. And things were every bit as good on arrival - lovely room, great breakfast, nice house in wonderful location. It was a fabulous weekend and not only will we be back, but I would recommend Easedale Lodge to anyone looking to stay in Ambleside.

“A little bit of magic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We stayed at Easedale Lodge for two nights early Feb to celebrate my birthday. The house is absolutely beautiful, the decoration is so stylish and the little artefacts, pictures and furniture throughout are so interesting. It was lovely to read a bit of history about the lodge in the guest info pack. Kerry made us feel so welcome and the other reviews are right, breakfast is gooood! Kerry was even kind enough to run an extra errand and at my mum's request had a bottle of champgane waiting for me in the room. The lodge is perfectly situated for walks around Ambleside. We were lucky to stay on a snowy weekend and it made the scenery all the more magical! A wonderful place to stay and a big thank you to Kerry and her 'team'.
