Rowanfield House is so good I wonder if I should be telling anyone else about or I'll find it that much harder to book. We have stayed for around 1 week for every year in the last 10 apart from 2003 (refurbishment works). We are busy international and domestic travellers ( Tasmania, Far East, US & Europe & UK) but nothing quite compares. Set in its own beautiful grounds the rooms are a delight with gorgeous furnishings/decoration and lots of thoughtful touches to make you feel at home (shared video & fridge freezer). We've stayed in most of the rooms now and each time they get better. The deluxe rooms have their own comfy sofas and all rooms have great showers. Breakfasts are a real feast and service attentive and friendly without being overpowering. This really is a gem. Review by Mrs Knight

A beautiful property, with views as good as anything I've seen from any accommodation. Food outstanding, hospitality immaculate, rooms luxury. Non-smoking too!
