Very convenient location, just up the hill from the ferry terminal (less than 5 mins) It is on the side of a main road - and all the family rooms are on the main road side but triple glazed so noise isn't a problem. As an older building the rooms are big, beds are comfortable. Staff were good. 3G phone service was good so you could check ferry schedules. No free wifi. There was an access point you could connect to but not branded Premier Inn and wanted credit card details so might well have been a scam !
TV was an ancient CRT - sort your Gran threw out in the 1990s - mix of channels with interference, pretty much unwatchable. Surely the savings on electricity alone would make it worthwhile Premier Inn replacing them. Only other problem was the plumbing, old fashioned British so shower is just a dribble and seperate hot and cold taps on the basin.
In summary, adequate for a night but you wouldn't want to stay longer.
