We unexpectedly made an over night stop due to very bad weather conditions. The staff were very friendly and the room very comfortable and warm. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and after a good nights sleep left for our ferry which is conveniently 5 minutes away. We would not hesitate to stay here again on future trips.

I have stayed at the Premier Inn at the ferry many times - usually when I have come off a ferry in the evening. I love its convenience - off the ferry and 10 minutes later the stress has evaporated and I am in my room and ready for a bite to eat and a night cap.

The reception staff are exceptional - very welcoming and very professional. Check in is dealt with swiftly. A special mention for Karola who still manages to remember me and my preferences amongst the thousands of guests she welcomes.

The standard of food in the bar restaurant is generally good and is pretty good value. Breakfast is very good and I would recommend the full breakfast as particularly good value. Again, the lady who does the breakfast room is warmly welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

I can't really fault the hotel but pricing in the summer months gets ridiculous and I refuse to stay here.

Me and my partner picked a random location on a map to go on a 3 day midweek trip which is how we ended up at this hotel.
its a choice im glad we took as we had a lovely time there. service was good no matter what time of day!
bar staff helpful and the food is tasty!
slight criticism would be the "stay for a fourth night for free" offer where if you stay for 3 nights you get a fourth for free. we did indeed stay for 3 but was not made aware of the offer when we booked so we couldnt take advantage of it. however thats more a fault of premier inn rather than the hotel.
also ordered a cheeseboard which was advertised as having mature chedder, camembert and a blue cheese. when i recieved the said board the waitress informed me that they had run out of stilton so ive got brie and that ive got extra chedder "because its going out anyway". i found that very funny so just laughed it off anyway but i guess some might take issue with that.
overall really enjoyed our time hear and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here for one night before getting an early ferry. It was easy to find and there was planty of room in the carpark. We checked in with a very friendly receptionist who told us about the restaurant and also asked if we wanted breakfast. we then went up to our room which was as you would expect for a Premier inn, it was warm clean and spacious. There was tea and coffee facilites, a flat screen tv and a huge double bed. I asked for a sea view which we got and was really nice. The price was pretty good too £42 for a Sunday night. We ate in the restaurant which is also what you would expect - reasonable pub grub. On the whole I was happy with the stay and would go again if travelling from Dover. Its not the Hilton but i have stayed in much worse. A good option when getting on an early ferry.
