“Beautiful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

Hello!
I would definitely recommend Bluebells!
We were in Orchid Room on the top floor, which is very romantic and spacious:) the bathroom is enormous! The room and whole house are beautifully decorated , warm and stylish.
Breakfast is very good ! ( lot's to choose from and delicious).
Michelle is a great host. Her smile and help will be remembered for long:)
Bluebells is a short walk away from a lovely and romantic city centre.

“Great host, great room, even better breakfast.”

After watching trip advisor on Channel 4 a few nights ago, I knew this review was overdue.

Upon arrival I was stunned at my hosts beautiful home, then my wonderful room, which was tastefully decorated. I had a luxuriously large bed, good quality quilts and pillows, and a large sized bathroom all to myself! The room itself felt loved, and was very clean, airy and fresh.

My host, Michelle, is a lovely woman, who seems to sense when you need her. She provided a wonderful breakfast, with an extensive choice. Including a variety cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, jams and bread, which included a particular type of bread one I use at home, which really made me happy! I also had the option of some cooked food, but declined.

I cannot comment on location, as I drove into town, but the journey seemed a pleasant one, if you were on foot, as you pass lots of little shops and pubs.

Michelle, her food, her home and the very reasonable cost, definitely make this B&B a fiver star.

“Blue Bells - You won't be sorry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

My wife and I are from Southern California. Michelle is a excellent hostess! Rooms are adequate and everything is very clean. Food is great. The walk into town is nice - we couldn't have asked for more. Would recommend it to our closest friends and others.

“A wonderful week”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We have just returned home having spent five days at Bluebells. From Michelle's warm and friendly greeting as we arrived after a long journey from Cornwall to her cheery wave goodbye she made sure we were comfortable and extremely well cared for. The whole establishment is spotlessly clean, the decor very pleasing and our suite comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of food, fruit, coffee and pots of tea that were regularly refreshed - a first for us! Nothing was too much trouble to Michelle to ensure her guests were happy.

The walk into the town centre takes about 15 minutes but the route is interesting and we did not find it onerous. We felt perfectly comfortable walking back from town at night.

We will certainly recommend Bluebells to our friends and family, and suggest you give it a try. We feel we were given extremely good value for our money, and will return when next in the area.

Room Tip: From the glimpses through open doors there is not much to choose

“Beautiful B & B, great value for money”

We stayed here when on a short break to Kent. Michelle was friendly and helpful and Bluebells is tastefully furnished and decorated to match the Vctorian house it is. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious.
Breakfast was plentiful with loads of choice, fruit, cereal, types of bread, continental, cooked etc. It is a good 10 minute walk to the city centre with the restaurants, coffee shops and cathedral, and conveniently situated to visit other tourist attractions in the area. All in all a good place to stay and good value for money.
