Great, helpful service from the owners. The house is nicely refurbished. The bathroom was a bit small, but not unusual for this type of B & B. It was clean and fresh. The location is out of the way of tourists, but not an inconvenient walk to the cathedral and other spots in the city centre. Thanks!

Good location - close to the center & rail station, very friendly owners, nice food, clean & comfortable rooms. I definitely liked it and would stay again when in Canterbury!

This was our second stay at Harriet House and once again had a very comfortable and quiet stay. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the owners are very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.

I have just 2 negatives to relay, one of which I was going to mention on departure but it completely slipped my mind! (Sorry Terry!) In our room, (Room 3), the glass shelf above the sink was in need of adjustment, the fittings were loose causing the shelf to tilt forward making it virtually unusable. Indeed, had my good lady decided to place her bottle of perfume upon the shelf, it would have ended up in the sink!

My only other gripe is the charge for WiFi - £3.00 is, in my opinion, a little steep and something which could easily be offered for free.

So, overall, an excellent stay once again! Thank you, we will be back!

I absolutely loved the Harriet House! I stayed there for 4 nights while visiting friends and would've liked to stay longer.

The location was pretty ideal, only a 10 minute walk from the Westgate and the city centre but still in a very quiet neighbourhood. My room was very clean and nice and the bed extremely comfortable! Bathroom was a bit small but I honestly didn't need a bigger one when travelling on my own. Took me a while to figure out about how the shower worked but in the end we were getting along great.

The owners were unbelievably friendly and helpful, always asking how I was and doing their best for me. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and always served with a smile. The only minus was that the breakfast is served quite early and I really like to sleep a bit later. At first I thought it was a bit expensive for just a B&B but it was 4 star and so nice that it really was worth of every penny.

If I ever go to Canterbury again I know exactly where I'll be staying. If you like a cosy and friendly B&B instead of posh hotels and marble floors like I do, the Harriet House is definitely for you!
