Having stayed at this hotel on the11th of feb 2012 the review i will be leaving will be a very dissapointing one im afraid,,,, On arriving all was pleasant , the man that met us was polite and helpfull and when asked for more cups for our room he quickly got them ,our room was situated on the second floor no;202 at the end of the corridor, iwas glad it wasnt in the middle otherwise we wouldnt have got any sleep with the ammount of noise that came later from guests with no respect for the people who had already retired and gone to bed,ie 2am ,2:39 am,4 am ,.on arrival i checked out the beds and found the the bed was very soft almost like a hammock in the middle and having worn discs in my back dreaded the thought of sleeping on it ,i did ask reception if we could try for another room and the man from earlier showed me two rooms but they to had terrible matresses too , room 201 and 205, he offerd me an extra quilt which i accepted and placed it under the matress to try and bridge the gap,it helped very little but would of been worse without .Outside noise was to a low level over looking car park at rear. But every where i looked was dust 1/4 inch thick ,on light fittings ,edge of carpets, toilet roll holder ,tv clearly hadnt been dusted for some time ,me and my daughter both have ashma ,the basin in the bathroom was filthy underneath,i cleaned half of it with antibacterial spray to show show how bad the other side looked ,after that i wiped anything that came contact with us , very dissapointing, i was tired when i got home having been disturbed numerous times by late night revellers, wouldn't stay again ,they need new beds , and cleaners need to improve thier standards, the sofa beds need cleaning too .....
