Stayed in this PIT in October like jones1 review belows Me and my girlfriend were greeted by several BIG RATS and thats no exagggeration! not only in the carpark but on the grass area & path bit rite outside the reception doors! they didnt even run away when we got close. There was a polish lady behind desk who just LAUGHED when i told her about the RATS NOT GOOD, There was somebody else's POO in our toilet when we use for first time i complained to the lady on desk, all she said was ok and she look at me.i told her we wanted different room as this was DISGUSTING,moved to another room,later we heard loud laughing coming from outside receptions door, when me ad girlfiend went for cigarete there were 4 drunk men drinking lots of cans of beer and smoking they were scottich i think..they were saying rude things to my girlfriend and this made her very upset, the desk lady said they should not be drinking alchol as it is motorway but she not say anything to men as she said they are staying for lots of months as they are working in area so i think she did not want to upset them as they must have paid a lot of money to stay a long time...There is a better hotel only 5 minietes down the motorway a Holiday inn go there its beautifull, dont just go to Days inn winchester as it cheaper it is HORIBLE

I apologise that your experience was anything less than satisfying. Our goal is to not only meet the needs of each and every guest we serve, but to exceed your expectations to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
I would like to assure you that are rooms are cleaned to the highest Days Inn standards, therefore I have raised the issue with our housekeeping team and would like to ensure you that it is an isolated incident and will not happen again in the future.
I have also been in touch with our pest control contractors who are contracted to Moto Services at Winchester and have re-iterated to them that visits are needed more often at the moment to resolve this issue that you have raised.
