As most reviews have said, this place is in need of refurbishinent. The room was clean, but with no full length mirror (normal behind main door in to room) and the towelrail removed from bathroom, (this leaves now no where to hang clothers/twels when showering). The room had a strange smell but after the room had been aired (left window open and truned up the heating) the smell left. Also now the rooms don't have net-cutains any more, so over looking the car park area we kept the cutains closed till we had finshed and ready to go out for the day.
Spoke to the receptionist who said that the place is now for refurbishment in 2012. We have stayed in the past but each year it looks more tried.
The rooms were only £12/night when we booked and use the place as a base to visit family.
