This place is amazing. Both myself and my boyfriend stayed on a three night/four day break and we had the most wonderful time. Its central to everything you need, Sainsburys up the road and places to visit all round you.
The lodge itself was probably the most cleanest place I have EVER stayed and we loved it so much that we didn't get to try out the local restuarants in the evening as we loved being in the lodge so much. Everything you could possibly need was there, even the washing up liquid. We only had to bring our clothes and some food.
The hot tub was not over looked and we used that every evening even though it was cold outside, the tub soon warmed you up.
The lodge was warm ( central heated ) and cosy. We will definately be back and my friends have seen our pictures and they are interested too. Would recommend this 100%.
The bed in the main room was extremely comfy and we did not want to leave this lovely lovely lodge.
We did use any of the fitness/spa areas so I am unable to comment on these. If the lodges are anything to go by, then they will be fab!!!

Three of us stayed in a two-bedroom lodge with a hot tub, having booked last minute after another venue double-booked us. A definite case of serendipity, as the lodge was fantastic. As others have commented, loads of space inside, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable overall. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, though sadly it was too cold to enjoy the rest of the outside facilities!
The interior is very thoughtfully done, including a well stocked information pack with laminated maps that show walking routes into Winchester. We loved the lazy boy sofas in our lodge (number 1)!
We were visiting without a car but the lodges are actually very close to the centre of town and the station so we didn't end up forking out too much on taxis either.
I have already recommended the lodges to friends and will likely be back again soon.

We stayed here for 10 days in August and absolutely loved it. Lodge was big, spacious and well-equipped. It had everything we needed for holiday including plenty of space for kids to run around outside. We enjoyed getting up each morning to look for the rabbit family that lived in the woods behind, having coffee on terrace, then heading out for the days activities. As we have lots of friends in the area, the lodge was perfectly located as well. And only few minutes from Winchester centre where there is decent high street. Would highly recommend these lodges - we were very pleased.

We booked a three bedroom Lodge here at the south Winchester lodges for the October half term holidays on a late availability deal.

What can I really say about this place absolutely fantastic and we will be back!

The lodge itself was very spacious very clean and very well appointed. Everything down to the bedding and towels were of top quality.

These lodges are located in a discreet and quiet hidden location within the grounds of the South Winchester Golf Club.

This location is nice and quiet. For those expecting on site amenities then this location is not for you. You can use the Golf Club facilities including the Bar and Restaurant but that's the only choice here. Located only a 5 minute drive is a large Sainsburys supermarket.

We stayed here as we found the location ideal for our visit to Peppa Pig world at Paulton Park.

All I can say is fantastic and we are already planning our next visit to the Lodges in the near future.
