We booked this hotel via the Southampton Tourist Information Office as there is a discount cruise parking arrangement. Despite the proximity to the motorway our room was quiet and very organised, a request for additional tea and coffee was met straight away. The staff were very busy as there were lots of pre-cruise guests of many nationalities. The only downside was the very limited menu available for the evening meal but the quality of the food when delivered was first rate and not bad value at all....the dining room also acts and bar and lounge. Breakfast is buffet style but on their suggestion we collected our food and ate in our own room.
The cruise car parking was a real find as the rate for B&B plus two weeks parking, about 5 miles away then shuttle-bus to port, is hardly much more than the rate charged by the Port Authority for the same period........
Would we use it again...certainly.
