We planned on visiting Winchester and Salisbury by train during the two days we were in Southampton before our cruise. It was the main reason we chose this B & B because it's just a stone's throw from the train station. It turned out to be a good choice in other ways, as well. Though the decor might give Martha Stewart the vapors, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Breakfast in the cheerful dining room was much above the average with fresh mushrooms, excellent coffee and the best black pudding I've ever had. Best of all, the proprietors are friendly and extremely helpful; they'll hold your bags after check out until you're ready to leave, call a taxi, etc. We'd stay there again.
Room Tip: Front room might not be as quiet as the others???

How kind that these guests bothered to write a review!
We don't solicit reviews but I'll show this to the ladies who work here with us. Our aim is to make customers feel like guests and I'm so glad we've got it right this time.
Now, we'll have to go through the June registrations to work out who lives in Laguna Niguel....
