“Basic and clean”

I stayed in Southampton overnight in 2010 with a group of college friends and upon arriving in the hotel room i was surprised that the shower did not have any privacy so it was just a case of me going out the room when my friend was getting dry outside the shower.

Other than that i was pleased with the level of service from all the staff and the room was of a high standard.

I would definately recommend going back as it is a budget hotel and it has all the necessities any guest would need!

“Great for a stopover”

This was the second time we have stayed at this budget hotel. Rooms are very basic and think this time we were just unlucky. Our room was freezing cold when we walked in and the heating did not seem to be working properly. Had we not been running late we would have insisted on another room. There was damp all down one corner of the room. We went to the theatre and when we got back the room was even colder and we had to keep our coats on. We went and complained to the desk and they gave us a fan heater. However it did'nt really heat the room so with the cold and the hard bed we did not get much sleep.
They charge for parking which I think should be free if you are staying at hotel..
All that said we would stay again if going on a night out in Southampton but not in Room Number 27!!!

Room Tip: Go for a room on a higher floor less noisy.

“Nice and cheap”

No frills, basic accomodation with good front desk service.
Recommended if you just need a place to sleep and wash.
Lots of eat out options nearby for all budgets
