Stayed her for 2 nights in December after returning from France. Due to bad weather and rough crossing arrived late but reception staff available and polite. Unfortunately the room was very tired. Large holes in the carpet, mould in the bathroom and lights with bulbs that did not work.
Next day had a cold shower (no hot water in the morning) and came back to the room to find wet towels had been left in the bath and had not changed and the bathroom bin had not been emptied.

We would normally use the main Portsmouth Travelodge opposite the ferry terminal and wish we had this time. That is a much better quality one.

I stayed at this hotel last night and it was my first stay at a Travelodge. The Manageress, Janette was so friendly and extremely helpful. The room was well decorated and had all of the essentials in it. (Good bed, tea making facilites and a TV). I did need an ironing board which Janette organised really quickly for me. I stayed as I needed to be in the same place two days running which is 60 miles from home. Free car parking, nice pub next door and most of all the room and ensuite were very clean. The shower was really lovely and had good pressure but I was on the ground floor. One negative was that there are no signs of the road to say the hotel was there, but look for the Toby Carvery and you will find it in the car park. Very quiet and I slept like a baby! Thank you to Janette (and John) for a very warm welcome.

We stayed for two nights. Room was better than the average travelodge as it had some very nice features such as beams. The large flat screen tv was fab. The bed had a decent mattress on it. We had to ask where the pull out bed was and they soon bought us one to the room. The only bad part was the shower, the water pressure was rubbish utter rubbish!!! Apart from this wr enjoyed our stay and would stay herr again.

Stayed at this hotel before catching the ferry to Spain. Clean and tidy and nice big room with large TV.Good value restaurant/pub adjacent, so ideal.We had an enjoyable meal on the evening which was good value for money! They only do a picnic style continental breakfast, so we went to one of the nearby cafes for a good breakfast before we caught the ferry. A great place to lay your head for the very reasonable £29 per room that we paid.You have to take your own toiletries, but kettle and coffee/tea were in the room.Well worth a try for a fantastic price!
