Stayed for a night last night whilst on business in the area. Room was incredibly hot and the air conditioning was either ineffective or broken. The shower leaked water constantly, which meant there was a loud dripping noise all night long, which I simply could not supress despite various attempts to dampen the sound with towels etc. Breakfast was poor, empty trays at the hot buffet (no eggs or bacon) and despite being offered tea or coffee on arrival, it took 15 minutes to get this. Much better options for the price.

Hello everybody, Guten tag, I stayed 2 weeks here and 3 weeks in Holiday Inn Porstmouth and my girlfriend (Spanish) called every night, at no time was she informed that you are charged for incoming calls, as you are transferred when u call reception (landline) free with our telekom contract). I was then informed by parent company ICH, when I called to complain about phone bills, that this does not happen. I was a gold member, 638837779 but I and my company will never use these hotels again. This is also the only hotel group to have the cheek to charge its customers!! Vorsicht wann mann hier bleibt, wann jiemand anrufen will, kostet 10 cent pro minute! Steht nicht im hotel documentation.

I attended a course in this hotel and was accommodated in room 325. On arriving, the receptionist couldn't find my reservation details ! ( Although, 12 rooms were booked for the entire course, by our Government department) !She asked me to contact my employers and ask them about the booking ?? When I refused, she did some more checking and, eureka !, she found it ! In the room, the shower didn't work, the bath was too small for me, (I'm 6' 2 ) the toilet took forever to flush and the TV was on and was very loud ! The breakfast was plentiful, but the plates were cold ! There was no one behind the bar, when I wanted a drink in the evening. The lunch was poor and the cost of the wifi was ridiculous ! (£41 for 3 nights ) Should be free considering cost of room ! All round below standard, stay in the Premier !

My husband and I spent 2 very pleasant nights a this hotel. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, check-in and check-out were a breeze and our room was spotless. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and we had no problems parking. We would not hesitate to stay here again and find it hard to undertand some of the negative comments left by some "Reviewers". in short, there is nothing wrong with this hotel.
