“Clean, modern accommodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

I booked a room without en suite but had exclusive use of a large modern bathroom which included a separate shower. The room was very comfortable and the house clean and efficiently run by Valerie, who served an excellent cooked breakfast plus cereal supplemented by fresh fruit and yoghurt. Home made marmalade for the toast. The house is large, solid but relatively modern - don't expect a character old building - in an attractive setting with steep hills up to the rear and a paddock (with horses and ponies) to the front. Heating was turned on in the evenings to take the chill off the rooms - a nice touch though it was barely necessary given the mild weather. I would be happy to stay here again.

The house is on the revised route of the Cotswold Way - though this may not be of direct benefit if it does not coincide with your stopping itinerary.

“Beautiful surroundings! Nice accomodations!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

Stayed one night while driving the perimeter of Wales and then into Cotswolds.
Very clean accomodations and beautifully appointed home. Enjoyed a full
English breakfast, nicely prepared. Owner/hostess is lovely and friendly.
Was able to get several nice photos of rolling hillside, their horses, and many
sheep. Family owned ranch, easy to find. Peaceful and quiet!
Walking trail behind the property. You will love it!

“Beautiful and charming English country b&b”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011 via mobile

We arrived by taking a train from London to Cheltenham station. and from Cheltenham, we took a taxi to the farm. About 15mins.

Postlip hall farm is still a working farm. We were happy to experience alittle of the farm life here. The kind owners allowed us to roam around the grounds and farm. Behind the farm, there are the rolling hills of cotwolds. At the front of the cottage, there's a nice pasture where the sheep run and a very small pond with ducks in them. It was reallywonderful taking a walk around especially for city dwellers like my Hubby and me.

Our room is spacious, well kept, Cosy and has a fanastic view of the hills (sheep too). I liked the country quilts and style of the room. It really feel more like a home. That's what I like about b&bs.

Bfast is good and delicious.

One downside to this b&b is that the nearest town for food and some shops are accessible only if you are driving. We relied on walking (20mins) and taking cabs which wasn't practical at all.

Postlip Hall Farm was immaculately kept, comfortable and charming. The stone house is amid 1500 sheep on beautiful rolling hills and in view of the stately Potslip Hall. the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern, the breakfast was generous and hte hostess was always pleasant and welcoming.
