My husband and I stayed here for a romantic getaway from the City and were certainly not disappointed. After a warm welcome from the manager we were shown to our room which was at the top, but the stairs were worth it as the view was lovely and the spacious room very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly showing us where to go for local walks and places to stop of for lunch. We came back to the hotel for dinner in their hidden gem of a restaurant, great fresh food just what we needed after our day of walking. I will not hesitate it recommend The Kings Arms to any of our friends.

What a treat!!! The Kings Arms is just a great place to stay. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We planned to just have some lunch and then find somewhere to stay, but liked the atmosphere so much we asked if they had any rooms. The room we had over looked the square - I did wonder where we were going when I saw the steep flight of stairs up to the second floor, but what a surprise!! a really lovely room, full of character.

I decided to treat my husband to a weekend away recently to celebrate his birthday. I have to say we had a great time. The accommodation was lovely and quirky. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday night and I have to say it I chose steak and it was one of the best steaks I have had in a long time.

I would certainly return to the Kings Arms and I have recommended this hotel to friends and colleagues.

I had the pleasure of visiting Stow on the Wold recently and sampling the fabulous atmosphere and ambience of the Kings Arms.

The Kings Arms is situated in the heart of the town and on the day I visited was a hive of activity with a fantastic atmosphere, the service received was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome.

The whole experience was a very pleasurable one and I would like to to recommend this to visitors of the area.
