“Nice place for a weekend break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We stayed 1 night on dinner bed and breakfast package. We received a warm welcome on arrival and taken to our room in the separate Coach House rather than told to find it ourselves. Our room appeared to have been refurbished and the bedroom was very pleasant, however the usual problem with English hotel bathrooms, especially when wood panelled rather than tiled: slight mould on bath sealant, corners of floor not properly clean, chip in bath painted over (not very well), separate hot and cold basin taps. However none of this was sufficient to detract from our stay.
The restaurant staff were pleasant and the food was very good. Usual breakfast selections plus toast racks (ensuring you always have cold toast).
The bar area is quite cosy but the seating layout rather odd - chairs at the tables for two are set at an angle.
Overall good value, good quality and friendly staff

“'Fantastic Fosse'”

We have just come back from a lovely 3 day break celebrating our first wedding anniversary.

We were staying on a dinner, bed & breakfast deal booked through the hotel website.

Our stay was perfect. We were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out.

We stayed in the coachouse (room 38) where we had a lovely room with a roll top bath and lovely views.

All in all, the staff were great and made us feel very welcome and the food really was outstanding - very impressed!

We are looking forward to a return visit later this year.

Room Tip: Ask for room 1 or 38!

Upon arrival we where gracefully greeted and shown to our room. The room was clean, perfectly decorated with quality furniture suprisingly topped with the most spectacular bathroom which had aww enspiring views across acres of beautiful cattle filled land! The bar was welcoming, with clean well presented staff who went out of their way to please us! We made a restaurant reservation and, I have got to say, had the most amazing meal! I've eaten at Claridges but this was something else! A very memorable experience with accommodating staff who only want you to feel special! HIGHLY recommended you will not be dissapointed!

“lovely restaurant, nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed January 2012, 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast (good deal via hotel website). Dinner was top-notch - top quality, locally sourced...really delicious and good value.
Hotel room very nice...not pristine, but the furniture had a more rustic feel anyhow. Spacious room (we had a superior room, No 20), with a sofa and DVD player. Bed a little soft for my personal liking.
Location (about a mile from Stow) great base for visiting the area. Staff all polite and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel, and my in-laws are planning a stay there next month!

“Overall fantastic stay :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

My husband & I stayed at Fosse Manor at the weekend with our 18 month old daughter. I can genuinely say that we have a lovely relaxing weekend.
The room was spacious for our lively daughter. Plenty of room for our travel cot & all her favourite toys.
The food was delicious & catered to our daughters palette too.
Staff there were friendly and accommodated to all our needs.
The location was lovely & can't wait to return when Hyde Barn is built.
I would recommend to any family for a relaxing and welcoming stay.
