“Beautiful setting lovely stay”

I really enjoyed my stay at Wyck Hill Hotel. I arrived before my husband and the very helpful receptionist insisted on carrying my quite small and not very heavy bag to my room which was very welcome!
The hotel is in good order it is nicely decorated and in the public areas, it is modern without loosing the character.

The only negative points were that the bedroom I stayed in was a little soul less and the shower temperature control was loose so a little difficult to set . The spa facilities close at 6pm which I thought was a bit early.

We used the steam room and sauna on our second day it was small but clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a meal in the bar which I felt was good value compared to the main restaraunt and again was a lovely area to relax in and have a drink.

I cant fault the staff, it worked out just slightly more expensive than other hotels in the area which looked far less appealing it was clean, I slept well and the setting was very nice.

Would recommend and stay again.

“Weekend getaway.”

Through a package deal, my wife and I stayed here for the weekend. It was a lovely hotel in an idellic location.

We also used the spa, which was very nice. Only thing missing was a swimming pool.

We ate dinner here on the 1st night and it was excellent. I recommend any pork dish that comes with the crackling. Gorgeous!

Stow is a lovely town, and totally recommend afternoon tea at huffkins tea rooms. There was so much, we had to take some away with us!

All in all a wonderful hotel in a beautiful town.

“Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings”

Spent a long weekend in the Cotswolds and used Wyck Hill House Hotel to explore the sights. Immediately impressed by the appearance of the hotel and its surroundings. Checking in couldn't have been more welcoming by the friendly and professional reception staff. Our room faced the garden with splendid views, it was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was also lovely.

We enjoyed two wonderful dinners and breakfasts, the food was first class - 5 star standard. The waiting staff provided excellent service in fact the service from all the staff we met was great. We look forward to returning soon. Highly recommended.

“Stunning hotel, beautiful location, excellent service !”

Stayed here in December for one of the christmas party nights (for our work do !). This is a stunning hotel, but also has a very cosy feel inside. Our bedroom was unusually spacious compared to a lot of hotels (we stayed in one of the modernised rooms on the ground floor). Lovely big bed which was also extremely comfy, and a lovely large modern bathroom. The christmas party night that was organised by the hotel was very good, the food excellent especially considering they were catering for a large room full of people all expecting to be served at the same time!
Breakfast the next morning was one of the best we've had and we've stayed in some lovely hotels, the quality of ingredients and the great service from the staff really set this place apart. We would definately like to come back for a couple of nights. Highly recommend.

“Lovely hotel in the Cotswolds”

Booked a package through hotelshopuk which included dinner, bed & breakfast as a surprise for our mums 70th birthday. On arrival I was not dissapointed. I managed to check in early which was was great, with the receptionist very friendly and showing me to my room and able to offer any help with our surprise plans. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and refreshingly had a sense of humour which is often lacking in many customer facing establishments these day. Ordered a sandwich for lunch which was fabulous and hoped that it was an indication of the standard of food for the evening meal. Again we were not dissapointed, the restaurant was very quiet but welcoming. The food was very fresh and very tasty. The hotel and grounds are lovely and I imagine in the summer months very beautiful. They have the nicest smoking area I have seen in many places and although none of us smoke we sat in here and enjoyed the views for a while! The hotel itself is very warm in cerrtain places so don't over dress, rooms were warm but you could open windows to let in some fresh air. Beds were very crisp, clean and comfortable - athough persoanlly found the pillows too soft. The radiator next to me spent the night making noises which was a bit of a pain as did the occupants of the room above with the worlds squeakiest floor boards - again not a major issue. Bedroom was very large and could easily have accommodated more comfort chairs. Bathroom clean and well equipped athough the shower was a nightmare to get at the right temperature and to get the water out the right part! a rather flooded floor - ooppsss. Breakfast was very good, fresh hot and a good selection.
Would definitely recommend and return again the future.
