“Fabulous place to stay”

We stayed here for one night in August 2006 and thoroughly recommend it.
The apartment (Tunstall House) is extremely spacious and comfortable. We were 4 adults and really appreciated the extra space for relaxation rather than being in 2 hotel rooms.
It is extremely well equipped in every way, from the kitchen equipment and appliances, to the lovely period living room which has TV with video and DVD (selection provided), and the very comfortable bedrooms. The main double bedroom has a huge bed and a small ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin. Beds very comfy. Lots of bathroom products provided and lovely huge fluffy white towels.
As they had no-one coming in the next night, Beverley suggested that we might like to stay on till 2or3 pm the following day which was very kind.
This is definitely THE place to stay in Cheltenham, only a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area, and lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. There's a great butcher in Tivoli, just around the corner, super place to get your cooked breakfast goodies! We had no problem parking, its just around the corner and free.

“well worth a stay”

This apartment is definitely better than the vast majority of similar properties or hotels rooms in terms of decor & cleanliness (nicer than most homes).
We stayed only for 1 night so the request to checkout by 10.30am vs the hotel norm of noon was a little inconvenient but the apartment was also spacious & well stocked with more than just the essentials including a fruit basket. The owner was very helpful , professional & thouroughly nice as was the cleaner the following morning. The only negatives were the lack of parking (the adjacent streets for parking didn't appear to be the best area of Cheltenham) , the access is a little difficult with the stairs if you have luggage & lastly sharing a common main entrance with other apartments security has to be considered. I would definitely stay again & recommend to others also.

“Fantastic Cotswold apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2006

This is a modernised first floor apartment furnished with considerable style, including some well-chosen antiques. Fresh flowers perfumed the lounge, with its sash windows, pine floorboards, marble fireplace and high celings with ornate plaster coving - a reminder of Cheltenham's glorious past. However, the gadgets of the present were there in force too: TV, audio system, wi-fi connection - and so much space!

The modern kitchen, with glossy fitted units and a stone floor was wonderfully well equipped; everything you could need to prepare a banquet was there - pots, pans, mixing and serving bowls, cutlery, utensils, full size oven, hob, microwave, coffee maker as well as ample crockery, glasses, and a dishwasher and washing machine too. Food provisons had been thoughtfully provided in the fridge/freezer and larder.

There were four adults in our party, so the two modern bathrooms were appreciated - the master bedroom has a small en-suite shower room with WC and handbasin, whilst the main bathroom had a bath. The bath towels were sparkling white, fluffy and huge.

We all loved it - much better than a conventional hotel room. So, thanks to the owners!

“Wonderful wonderful place!”

I booked this apartment as a surprise for my mother as it seemed much more sensible than sharing a hotel room. What a good choice! This apartment is really luxurious - and the owner, Beverley, was extremely helpful and efficient. There is an amazing bathroom, a beautiful main bedroom, a quaint raised bedroom, a big lounge with great antique pieces and a great little kitchen - it's even got big fluffy towels and bath products. The fridge is stocked with essentials, which you leave small amounts for and the owner is happy to cater for anything else you need. This place deserves a rave review and a visit.
In fact,I loved it so much - that my husband and I are going back there soon for a break. It's like having your own apartment in Cheltenham, with lots more space than you usually get and I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a bit of luxury and to feel special. I've rated it as 'excellent' and I've got very high standards...! It beats any hotel in the area and feels very private - so go and treat yourself! I'll definitely be back again.

“Fantastic, best place in Cheltenham”

Regent Suites are by far the best accomodation we have experienced in Cheltenham - we really felt we were staying in luxury accomodation, with impressive furnishings and all mod cons you would hope for. It was the little personal touchs that made it extra special like luxury bath robes for us to relax in. Both flats are in good positions, close to the centre of town, and the Manager was extremely helpful giving us superb tips on where to eat, although it was sorely tempting to shut the doors and simply stay in the Suite! We could not fault it, cannot rave about it enough - just look at the pictures on www.regentsuites.co.uk to see what we mean. We think we stumbled upon a little gem that made our holiday extra special.
