My first stay here but definitely not the last. From the first moment I was made to feel at home. Guy and Robert are wonderful hosts and their hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. Highly recommended for everyone who appreciates quality and thoughtful final touches.

Convenient location. Great hosts. Top breakfast. Only caveat for us was the slightly idiosyncratic decorative theme. We would return!

Location : A short 5 minute walk into the centre of Cheltnham with it's shops and restaurants of Montpellier.
A large period house with on site parking. Well maintained and furnished in a comfortable manner, although slightly ideosyncratic decoration with old theatre seats in the reception.
A friendly welcome from the owner whio was happy to chat to us.
We were put in a room on the 2nd floor so we "had a bath and shower".
The room was a nice surprise, spacious, complete with table and chairs to sit at, and a separate kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave. The mattress was comfortable with nice linen. Wide screen TV cenetrally mounted. The bathroom was bijou but contained everything you needed.
Breakfast informal and perfectly acceptable.

I would stay here again.

We were searching for somewhere to stay as a centre for the Cotswolds area and Butlers in Cheltenham sounded perfect.

We were not disappointed at all, Robert and Guy have worked extremely hard to make guests feel very welcome and the Butlers 'Theme' is fantastic, with each room named after famous Butlers.

The rooms and very clean, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is certainly something to savour every morning!

It is in a good (quiet) location, and about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Cheltenham,

We certainly felt that nothing was too much trouble and we would love to stay there again at a future date!
