What a gem! This hotel was booked on the last minute and i didn't expect too much. Oh my word it was fantastic. The house itself was immaculate and the breakfast was to die for. The staff could not have been more helpful. A lovely stay!!

We stayed at Beaumont House for a birthday weekend without kids - so we needed peace, tranquility and a bit of luxury. We got all of that and more. The hotel as a whole is beautiful - lovely house from the outside - inside the communal rooms are wonderful - a roaring fire in the front room with masses of magazines, a laptop and self-service bar. The dining room as well is wonderful. We stayed in Out of Africa - which is stunning- so unusual! A really good size room, with HUGE bed (so comfortable) lounge area, desk, lovely bathroom with whirlpool bath. I can't recommend it enough - we peeked in Out of Asia as well which was lovely, but not quite as good as our room! Also overlooking the garden, so was really peacefull. The staff were utterely delightful, couldn't be more helpful with our several requests. Breakfast outstanding as well - I have apsolultey no doubt we'll be back! Particuarly recommend both The Daffodil and Indus curry house where we ate out. Thank you Beaumont House for a very special weekend!

Easy to find with satnav, our room was a reasonable size, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was on the small side but spotless and the two-headed shower was hot and powerful enough. Breakfast was excellent and the service very good.

The only down side was the noise from the other rooms and when water was flowing through pipes. But for one night it doesn't matter too much.

Beaumont House was the surprise package of our trip and we are very grateful to the owners, Alan and Fan, for their timely intervention. My wife and 2 children arrived in Cheltenham from Shanghai to find our accommodation at another hotel could not be accessed in the evening! In desperation we called Beaumont House who could not do enough to help us.
This hotel is a gem. We loved the large lounge room with the beautiful Christmas tree, daily newspapers and honesty bar suppling drinks and nibbles. Next to the dining room is a beautiful observatory overlooking the lawn and nicely kept garden where we could self serve espresso or cappuccino from a modern coffee maker.
The room was large with a new modern bathroom and very comfortable beds. We loved the finer touches, such as the beautiful Chinese tea box and wine selection and the service was always friendly and nothing too much trouble.
We highly recommend Beaumont House to anyone looking for excellent accommodation, and to a thoroughly enjoyable ‘English’ experience.
