Just came back from a very enjoyable stay in the most homely B&B i have yet to find! This house is not just tastefuly furnished but also incledibly clean and comfortable. Tony and Diane made our two day break a delight with a fantastic breakfast to kickstart our day and very enjoyable conversations. Tony's porridge is the best i have tried so far and Diane's attention to detail and english breakfasts did the trick. The Winchelsea room was lovely and immaculate. We would strongly recommend the experience at Oaklands since the B&B in itself is great but Tony and Diane make it all the better as hosts.

We stayed at Oaklands for two nights. The B&B is clean, service & hospitality is fantastic and a high standard english or continental breakfast.

The environment is perfect for a nice (short or long) walk, or visits to Camber Sands, Eastbourne and Hastings.

There is only one minor issue; the people here are driving at the wrong side of the road!

Our stay at Oaklands was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in every way. Tony and Diane Were the perfect hosts, friendly and very inviting. We stayed at the Mews which is like an idyllic Home from home without the hassles and pressures of home. The attention to detail and comfort was spot on and made our stay there totally enjoyable, relaxing and worth while.

We spent the weekend seeing the sights of Rye and surrounding places of interest with four friends and we were all delighted with our stay at Oaklands. Diane and Tony made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. All the rooms were beautifully furnished, warm and cosy (it was a cold weekend), the whole house was very tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean, with lovely views over the gardens and countryside beyond.

The cooked breakfast was delicious and so plentiful that we didn't need any lunch. They use the best ingredients, including homemade jam. Oaklands was a real find and very good value for money. We were all delighted with our two-day stay and we would recommend this B & B to anyone without hesitation.
