Lesley and I would like to thank you, on behalf of us all, for making our celebration of Lesley‘s birthday in Rye with our family such a delight ("RaRa" is Grandma) . White Vine House is simply superb, the food was delightful; the warm welcome, hospitality and kindness shown to us by you and your staff were truly wonderful. The environment you created made it so relaxing and such fun being with our children and grandchildren. For those three days it really was ”our home in Rye”. Camber Sands was sweltering and the RH&DR was a real treat with the kids.

Javed is a great host and his staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely. Room 3 is large and comfortable. The bath fits two. It is a lovely place in which to relax. The restaurant has now changed to The Ambrette, which serves fine dining with some Indian flavours. A curry house this isn't. The dining staff are fantastic too. The rose creme brulee is amazing. Breakfast is so tasty and starts your day off perfectly. I can not praise this place enough, it was just the break we needed and now we can't wait to return.

We recently held my Fathers Birthday weekend at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and stylish and the new bathrooms were really well appointed and decorated.

The thing that really sets this place apart is that it is not pretentious, the owner, Javed, will doing anything to make the occassion as special as possible and it has bags of character.

We have had a busy year and I have only just got around to writing this review. We went and stayed for a couple of nights at the WVH as a part of the itinery of our honeymoon. Javed and Judith were a great laugh and javed and the team genuinely catered for our every need. A beautiful shower with organic products, a wonderful bespoke breakfast, a very relaxing room which was just what we needed just after our wedding! The flat screen tv with bluray was great for chilling and watching films and we enjoyed the food in the restaurant and also enjoyed a great evening in the Globe pub / restaurant. The situation in the village was very central and we enjoyed lunch in Webbes and massages in the the Retreat I think it was called. I thoroughly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back and we have told lots of people about the rooms. We were showed around all the rooms on a visit before we stayed and chose where we wanted to stay. This is a genuine 10 / 10 review and I loved the mix with old and new in the decor.
