I can't fault this B&B - it is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, has everything you need in the room including mini fridge and helpful information & very friendly staff. Our room was not ensuite, but for the bargain price this was absolutely no issue. Senlac is also in a great location and just 10 inute walk to the old town. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Hastings!

I just stayed here for 2 nights but have stayed here before a few times previously. It is a small B&B run by friendly people who are helpful, the rooms I have stayed in (singles) were small but perfectly adequate, were nicely decorated with decent furniture and very clean. Being only 5 minutes walk from the seafront, and 3 minutes walk from the main shopping area, it is in a good, fairly quiet location, with free parking offered in a nearby car park from 4pm-11am, and as such represents very good value. I'd have no problem recommending it to anyone.

I stayed at Forty Six which is owned by the same people. The guest house was newly refurbished and immaculate. There were many thoughtful extras such as the fridge, iron and ironing board and the drinks tray was well stocked. The room was warm and very comfortable with a bed that ensured a good night's sleep. There was some noise from other guests in the morning, though.

Stayed at Number 46, Senlac's B&B with ensuites during August 2011nbank holiday and it was perfect. You have to book through Senlac Guest House website and click link to Number 46. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, quite, clean ensuite, order the full english breakfast as it is cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and helpful, with maps and recommendations ready to hand. Recommended for couples, singles and small families, we will definitely be back.
