I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone coming to Brighton. The hotel is clean and fresh and is beautifully decorated. The duo that run this little gem are friendly and personable.
When I arrived I was greeted by Ramola who was friendly and personable and automatically made me feel at home.
When I came down to breakfast the next morning - which I hasten to add can be quite daunting as a lone traveller - I was greeted by my first name asked how my night was and Mary seemed genuinely interested in the response having a giggle about the morning after etc. The breakfast is beautifully cooked and all local produce which is definitely detectable in the taste.
In my beautifull room with a view of the Brighton wheel - there was a kettle with milk, tea, coffee, water and even sweets should I feel peckish. There was already wine glasses with bottle opener in the room and we all know that we nearly always need to ask for that!!
When I stayed it was snowing but the rooms remained warm and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
I would definitely not bother to look for another place to stay in future but will automatically just book with these guys. I have stayed in a lot of B and B's around the world and this has been the best to date the attention to detail is amazing.
Thanks mary and Ramola - hopefully I will be back to stay wi you again soon. )
