good experience of this hotel went to brighton for the weekend with the girls all aged over 30, were all mums so are fussy about cleanliness etc, really nice clean rooms, hotel is right next to train station and 5 minute walk from all the pubs, bars, clubs, shops pier etc. nice food nice staff and seriously comfy beds, its just like a posher travel lodge that does what it says on the tin, all photos show exactly how it is. if i reteurn to brighton i would not stay anywhere else.

“Second visit and still good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I booked a room for New Years Eve at The Jury's Inn Brighton as it was excellent value at £149 for the room and I had stayed there a few years ago. We arrived at midday and parked the car in the railway carpark opposite which was not very full at all. Paying for the parking was easy via text message and cost about £11 for 24 hours. It was 12 noon when we arrived and I enquired as to whether we could check in yet; the receptionist was really helpful and positive and said we could if the room was ready, which it was. The room was quite chilly due to the air conditioning but there were extra blankets available. The room looked slightly tired if you decided to look closely (stain on the lampshade and a few chips on the dresser) but it was in pretty good order for somewhere that has such high usage. There was a bar downstairs which served food too which was a good starting point for a night out. The hotel is well placed for town and after a five to ten minute walk you feel very much in the centre of things. Check out was extremely quick and easy and there is a left luggage facility too. If I visited Brighton again I would be more than happy to stay at this hotel , particularly as hotels can be quite expensive in the area.

“Below par for business”

Stayed at the Jury's Inn for a 3 single-night stays on week nights in Jan 2012.

Rooms are very basic for business use, often with stains or marks left on furniture from previous stays. When I checked-in on my first stay, the in-room desk had spilled make-up on which hadn't been cleaned off.

Staff appear to do the minimum to accomodate guests - a request for an iron took 2hrs to resolve and on a separate stay, a request for a clean glass took 15 minutes.

It's satisfactory, but only just. For this price bracket, in many cities you can get a much better hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the railway station - there's less outside lig...

“Great city hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

If you need to be located by the transtation this hotel is a very good choice. it only takes approx. 10-15 min to the seafront promenade.
Staff was very accomodating to me, nice to visit a "can do" hotel. The Jurys Inn has bar and restaurant which i did not use, so can not comment on it.
The room was clean, comfy and bed very good quality. tv and aircon, and as all brit hotels with kettle, tea and coffee. Plenty of hot water and soaps /conditioner provided by bottles hanging on the wall.
Breakfast was delish with lots to choose from and morning staff was very kind too.
Only complaint for this hotel is that you need to pay GBP10 for internet connection- which should be included if the hotel wants to be a business hotel.
As comme ils faut these days, Jurys Inn also has a strict non smoking policy, and environment promises etc etc. That means that the aircon can be put up to 24C in winter which is not enough - freezingly cold. I was told that I was able to get a heater in my room, upon check out- so just ask the reception.
I will stay here again with no hesitation.

Room Tip: my guess is that rooms are alike

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

Stayed for 2 nights at the Brighton Jury's Inn. Paid about £50 a night. Great value. Near the railway station - so a short walk downhill to get to the sea/attractions.
Room was clean. Good sized flat screen tv with freeview.
£10 a day for wifi which is disappointing.
Good common area with friendly bar.
Beware that all twin rooms come with 1 double and 1 single.
Would stay again at that sort of rate.
