Stayed for one night, and was pleasantly suprised and impressed by the helpful and positive atitude of the staff. Very welcoming. Room was basic but clean, with plenty of hotwater. It was very cold outside, and I would say that either the thermostat or heating for our room was broken, or not very efficent. That said the room was adequately warm. We paid forthe full breakfast, and again staff in the resturant were excellent. The coffee was great and the cooked breakfast was good too. We would definatley recommend this hotel as I think some of the more established hotels in Brighton are a bit shabby and disappointing for more £.
Room Tip: Room 605, once they've checked the thermostat. Was very quiet considering central location.

I remember how cold it was in early february when you stayed and it was bitter to say the least.
Please accept our apologies that you experienced problems with the air conditioning, any issues are logged and we aim to resolve them ASAP - so in essence it's good we know!
Glad the coffee was great, you recommend us and for leaving a room tip!
