Made very welcome. New owner has plans to refurbish after taking over in 2011 and this should make the hotel even better. Will plan to retrun.

After surfing the web we decided to book here as its looked very warm and cosy,
we were met with very friendly faces and the lovely smell of burning candles,
the house is spotless, nothing was too much trouble for the owners, who had answers for all our questions, we stayed for 2 nights, breakfast on both mornings was amazing, perfectly presented, the tablewear was the highest standard i have ever come across,
Would definitely return to this hotel, would not bother wasting my time surfing for others now.

After booking this on last minute, was a bit weary as have stayed in some real hell holes in Brighton. My husband and I were really impressed, not only with the warm, friendly and caring owners, who bent over backwards to accommodate us, but the cleaniness of the whole place, the room and the en suite were absolutely spotless. The finishing touches were lovely with a french chique feel, overall we felt totally relaxed and had a wonderful stay, we only wished we could have stayed longer.
We have stayed at some of the bigger more expensive hotels and I have to say this beats them hands down, would reccommend this to anyone and we are definiately returning

Lovely hosts and warm reception which included running out to save us a 24 hour parking space in central Brighton as we arrived. Really nice vegetarian breakfast too. Would recommend as also in great location, not only next to sea but in lovely Kemptown..antique shops and great little pubs/cafes. Thank you!
