“Pleasant stay in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012 via mobile

We stayed here recently for 3 nights and couldn't fault the place. Location is great, we parked right outside Paskins and didn't use the car for three days, £5.50 for 24 hours.

Pub round the corner, Hand in Hand, deserves s mention, has it's own micro-brewery, full of quirky characters, we highly recommend it.

The highlight of Paskins, as mentioned by numerous others, is their breakfasts, a pure delight which leaves you spoilt for choice.

All staff were very friendly.

Would definitely return!.

“Best breakfasts ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Stayed here for a long weekend and had a lovely time. Liked the independent feel of the hotel along with the low-key friendly staff, who had lots of useful tips about how to enjoy our stay in Brighton, either in conversation or in the folder in our room packed full of information about the area, restaurants, activities etc. Best bit was definitely the breakfast with amazing choice cold buffet options and hot ones cooked to order. After such a fantastic start to the day it was genuinely a struggle to find space for cake mid-afternoon (lunch was not necessary!). Also really liked attention to eco-detail, such as the toiletries ('Sprout Out' shampoo). Only downsides were that the room was quite small (though spotlessly clean and well laid out), the bed wasn't a real double (two singles put together) and the floorboards were very creaky! Having said that, the hotel was incredibly peaceful and there was no outside noise at all. Would definitely recommend for something a little different.

“Paskins- fabulous as ever xxx Top Notch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

I have been coming to Paskins over the years now- not been since last summer and am still delighted to stay there. excellent customer service, amzing breakfasts (me a veggie and this time had the porridge with cranberries on one day and the scrambled eggs on another- divine- they offer soya milk which I love, vegan options and the staff are lovely.
i had a single ensuite nice room, small but just what I needed. Great shower- nothing wrong with the pressure/power. very quiet slept well for both of my nights whilst down for the Brighton Tattoo Convention.
I will stay there again when next visit Brighton- Paskins is part of my whole Brighton experience- oh and if you can try their homemade marmalade- yummy
The shower gel privided is eco friendly and smells divine xxxx

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

My girlfriend and I stayed at Paskins Hotel around December. The breakfast was fantastic in addition to a nice buffet of fruits, juices and cereals. The staff couldn't have been more helpful specially David who kindly upgraded us when I mentioned it was a surprise for my girlfriend. We were so pleased with our room, clean and tidy with a stylish decor. We could tell so much work was put into the room! Thanks Paskins for a great weekend!

“Average!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

I had high hopes staying here after reading all the excellent reviews! However, I felt a bit disappointed and would probably not return.
Upon arriving the Welcome was ok but just that ok. I felt they just were going through the motions etc
Room was average small and nothing special.
The breakfast was nice no complaints there however the service wasn't great no small talking from the host just again going through the motions. The shower was also weak with no pressure, so only used it once, not great!
To summarise, an ok B&B clean enough, but Customer Service was lacking!
